C1AE8 - Rear Right Center Sensor Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
The rear center No. 1 ultrasonic sensor RH is installed on the rear bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the rear center sensor RH. If the rear center sensor RH has an open circuit or other malfunction, it will not function normally.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
If the DTC is output after repairs, turn the power switch ON (IG) and move the shift lever to R. Then clear the DTC.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.
(b) Check for DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.

2. REPLACE REAR CENTER NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RH
(a) Replace the ultrasonic sensor with a normally functioning sensor Removal.

3. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.
(b) Check for DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.
