P2511-149 - ECM/PCM Power Relay Sense Circuit Intermittent
DESCRIPTION
This DTC indicates that the hybrid vehicle control ECU, which monitors the +B power source voltage, detects an instantaneous interruption.
WIRING DIAGRAM
Refer to the wiring diagram for DTC P3110-139 P3110.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK BATTERY TERMINAL (CONTACT PROBLEM)
(a) Check the connection of the auxiliary battery terminal.
OK:
The terminal is connected securely and there is no contact problem.
NG -- CONNECT SECURELY
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR)
(a) Check the connections of the hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors.
OK:
The connectors are connected securely and there are no contact problems.
NG -- CONNECT SECURELY
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - IGCT2 RELAY)
(a) Turn the power switch off.
(b) Remove the IGCT2 relay from the engine room No. 2 relay block.
(c) Disconnect connector A76 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
(a) Check for intermittent problems Check For Intermittent Problems.
(1) Check the connection and terminal contact pressure of connectors and wire harnesses between the hybrid vehicle control ECU and the engine room No. 2 relay block.
(2) When the power switch is on (READY), jiggle the connectors and wire harnesses between the hybrid vehicle control ECU and the engine room No. 2 relay block.
