Pinout Values and Diagnostic Parameters





AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER





(a) Disconnect the L76, L77 and z1 air conditioning amplifier connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the L76, L77 and z1 air conditioning amplifier connectors.

(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.









* If the result is not as specified, the air conditioning amplifier may have a malfunction.

(e) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.









HINT
When the blower level is increased, the duty ratio changes accordingly.

(f) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 2.









HINT
The waveform varies depending on the CAN communication signal.

(g) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 3.









HINT
The waveform varies depending on the CAN communication signal.

(h) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 4.









HINT
When the rear blower level is increased, the duty ratio changes accordingly.

2. CHECK FRONT CONTROLLER





(a) Disconnect the A50, A52 and B14 front controller connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the A50, A52 and B14 front controller connectors.

(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





* If the result is not as specified, the front controller may have a malfunction.

3. CHECK HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU





(a) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Check from the rear of the connector while it is connected to the hybrid vehicle control ECU.





* If the result is not as specified, the hybrid vehicle control ECU may have a malfunction.

(b) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.

The waveform varies depending on the compressor operation signal.

(c) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 2.









HINT
The waveform varies depending on the CAN communication signal.

4. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK)





(a) Disconnect the DA, L12 and L13 ECU connectors.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

5. CHECK LUGGAGE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK (REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)





(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Check from the rear of the connector while it is connected to the rear junction block ECU.





* If the result is not as specified, the rear junction block ECU may have a malfunction.

6. CHECK REAR DOOR ECU LH





(a) Disconnect the O14 rear door ECU LH connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the O14 rear door ECU LH connector.

(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





* If the result is not as specified, the rear door ECU LH may have a malfunction.

7. CHECK REAR DOOR ECU RH





(a) Disconnect the O3 rear door ECU RH connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the O3 rear door ECU RH connector.

(d) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





* If the result is not as specified, the rear door ECU RH may have a malfunction.

8. CHECK DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY





(a) Disconnect the L132 display connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

9. CHECK REAR POWER SEAT MODULE (except for 4-Passenger with Ottoman)





(a) Disconnect the z54 rear power seat module connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

10. CHECK REAR POWER SEAT MODULE (for 4-Passenger with Ottoman)





(a) Disconnect the S15 rear power seat module connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
