Removal





2UR-FSE INTAKE: INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE ACTUATOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Removal

3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
* After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE ACTUATOR





(a) Disconnect the intake air control valve actuator connector.

(b) Remove the nut, and disconnect the actuator rod.

NOTICE:
When loosening the nut, hold the actuator rod in place so that it does not move.

(c) Remove the 2 bolts. Then remove the intake air control valve actuator from the intake manifold.
