Braking Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

BRAKE CONTROL: BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR: INSPECTION

1. CHECK BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the brake pedal stroke sensor.

If any of the following occurs, replace the brake pedal stroke sensor assembly with a new one:

* The surface of the sensor is cracked, dented or chipped.

* The connector is scratched, cracked or damaged.

* The sensor has been dropped.
