2UR-FSE CHARGING: BATTERY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER





(a) Install the battery carrier with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

2. INSTALL BATTERY





(a) Install the battery.

(b) Install the No. 2 battery hold down clamp with the bolt.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

(c) Install the battery clamp with the nut.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

(d) Connect the thermistor sensor connector.

(e) Connect the battery room ventilation hose.

(f) Connect the cable to the positive (+) battery terminal.

Torque : 5.6 Nm (57 kgf-cm, 50 in-lbf)

(g) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

Torque : 5.6 Nm (57 kgf-cm, 50 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
* When the warning light is illuminated or the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, turning the power switch may not start the system on the first try. If so, turn the power switch again.
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
