L110F HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: HYBRID TRANSMISSION SYSTEM: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. CHECK SHIFT LOCK OPERATION

(a) Move the shift lever to the P position.

(b) Check that the shift lever cannot be moved to any position other than P.

(c) Turn the power switch on (IG), depress the brake pedal and check that the shift lever can be moved to other positions.

2. CHECK SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON OPERATION

(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the shift lock release cover.

(b) When operating the shift lever with the shift lock release button pressed, check that the lever can be moved to any positions other than P. If the operation cannot be done as specified, check the shift lever assembly installation condition.

3. OPERATION CHECK

(a) Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(c) Select the following menu items:

(1) Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / HV ECU / ACTIVE TEST / SHIFT.

(2) Techstream - Select: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Control the Shift Position.

(d) Select the following menu items:

(1) Intelligent tester - Select: USER DATA / B1 OIL PRESS, B2 OIL PRESS, LINE PRESS, LINE PRESS SOL.

(2) Techstream - Select: User Data / B1 Oil Pressure, B2 Oil Pressure, Line Pressure, Line Pressure Solenoid.

(e) Perform the SHIFT active test. (Intelligent tester)

(1) Read the user data.





(f) Perform the Control the Shift Position active test. (Techstream)

(1) Read the user data.





(g) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(h) Select the following menu items:

NOTICE:
* Active test of the oil pump motor can be performed continuously for 30 seconds.
* Be sure to wait at least 1 minute before continuing after performing the active test of the oil pump motor in order to allow the motor to cool down.
* Make sure that the auxiliary battery is not discharged.
* If the auxiliary battery voltage is 12 V or less, be sure to use an external power source. If the active test is performed while the auxiliary battery is low, the oil pump motor, fuses, or wire harnesses will deteriorate or may be damaged.
(1) Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / HV ECU / ACTIVE TEST / OIL PMP-500rpm, OIL PMP-1000rpm.

(2) Techstream - Select: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Active Test / Activate the Oil Pump (500rpm), Activate the Oil Pump (1000rpm).

(i) Select the following menu items:

(1) Intelligent tester - Select: USER DATA / OPM TARGET REV, OPM REVOLUTION.

NOTICE:
The OPM TARGET REV and OPM REVOLUTION values should be almost the same.

(2) Techstream - Select: User Data / OPM Target Revolution, OPM Revolution.

NOTICE:
The OPM Target Revolution and OPM Revolution values should be almost the same.
