SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): INSPECTION

1. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY (w/ Memory)

(a) Check the operation of the slide motor.





(1) Check if the seat cushion spring moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the slide motor connector terminals.

OK:

If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

(b) Check the operation of the lifter motor.





(1) Check if the seat cushion spring moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the lifter motor connector terminals.

OK:

If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

(c) Check the operation of front vertical motor.





(1) Check if the seat cushion spring moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the front vertical motor connector terminals.

OK:

2. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY (w/o Memory)

(a) Check the operation of the slide motor.





(1) Check if the seat cushion spring moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the slide motor connector terminals.

OK:

If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

(b) Check the operation of the lifter motor.





(1) Check if the seat cushion spring moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the lifter motor connector terminals.

OK:

(c) Check the operation of front vertical motor.





(1) Check if the seat cushion spring moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the front vertical motor connector terminals.

3. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT BACK SPRING ASSEMBLY (w/ Memory)

(a) Check the operation of the reclining motor.





(1) Check if the seat back moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the reclining motor connector terminals.

OK:

If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seat back spring assembly.

(b) Check the operation of the lumbar support adjuster assembly.





(1) Check that the seat back moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the lumbar support adjuster assembly connector terminals.

OK:

4. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT BACK SPRING ASSEMBLY (w/o Memory)

(a) Check the operation of the reclining motor.





(1) Check if the seat back moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the reclining motor connector terminals.

(b) Check the operation of the lumbar support adjuster assembly.





(1) Check that the seat back moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the lumbar support adjuster assembly connector terminals.
