Installation

INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 5 guides.

NOTICE:
Do not damage the upper instrument panel assembly.

(b) Engage the 12 claws.

(c) Install the upper instrument panel assembly with the 2 bolts [A] and 2 screws [B].

Bolt A - Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

(d) Engage the clamp.

(e) Connect each connector.

2. CONNECT NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE Installation

3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)

(a) Engage the 16 claws to install the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly.

4. INSTALL CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) Engage the 3 guides and 8 claws to install the center instrument panel register assembly.

5. INSTALL FRONT NO. 4 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (w/ Front Center Speaker) Installation

6. INSTALL NO. 1 SPEAKER OPENING COVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 4 clips to install the No. 1 speaker opening cover assembly.

7. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) Installation

8. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 guides and 2 clips to install the No. 2 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly.

9. INSTALL NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE OPENING PLATE

(a) Engage the 5 claws to install the No. 1 defroster nozzle opening plate.

10. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 3 guides and 4 claws to install the No. 1 instrument panel register assembly.

11. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH Installation

12. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect each connector.

(b) Engage the 8 claws and clip to install the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly.

13. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

(a) Engage the 4 guides, clip and 3 claws to install the instrument side panel LH.

14. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH Installation

15. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

16. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

17. INSTALL NO. 2 DEFROSTER NOZZLE OPENING PLATE

(a) Engage the 4 claws to install the No. 2 defroster nozzle opening plate.

18. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 3 guides and 7 claws to install the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly.

19. INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH (for Metal Finish Panel and Urethane Panel)

(a) Engage the 5 clips to install the No. 3 instrument cluster finish panel garnish.

20. INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH (for Wood Panel and Bamboo Panel)

(a) Engage the 4 clips to install the No. 3 instrument cluster finish panel garnish.

21. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

22. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) Engage the clamp.

(c) Engage the 5 claws.

(d) Install the glove compartment door assembly with the 4 screws [C].

23. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation

24. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

25. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

26. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) Engage the clamp.

(c) Engage the guide, claw and 2 clips to install the No. 2 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.

27. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH

(a) Engage the 4 guides, clip and 3 claws to install the instrument side panel RH.

28. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH Installation

29. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY Installation

30. INSTALL METER HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) Engage the 11 claws.

31. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
