LIGHTING (EXT): REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR LIGHT COVER

(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 6 claws and remove the 2 rear light covers.

2. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Disengage the pin and 3 guides and remove the rear combination light assembly.

(c) Turn the rear turn signal light bulb and rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove them as a unit.





(d) Using a screwdriver, disengage the clamp.





(e) Disconnect the connector and remove the rear combination light lens and body.

3. REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

(a) Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE REAR UPPER BUMPER RETAINER

(a) Remove the screw and rear upper bumper retainer.





6. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE Removal

7. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP Removal

8. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK Removal

10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side) Removal

11. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side) Removal

12. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD Removal

13. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal

14. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD Removal

15. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH Removal

16. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD UPPER NO. 3 PLATE (for RH Side) Removal

17. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD (w/o Woofer) Removal

18. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD (w/ Woofer) Removal

19. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/o Woofer) Removal

20. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover) Removal

21. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

22. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

23. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD Removal

24. REMOVE DECK TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER Removal

25. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER Removal

26. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE COVER RH (for RH Side) Removal

27. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH Removal

28. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Removal

29. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY Removal

30. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER HOOK Removal

31. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP Removal

32. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) Removal

33. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal

34. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a clip remover, disengage the clamp.





(b) Disconnect the connector.

(c) Disengage the grommet and remove the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.
