Removal





HYBRID / BATTERY CONTROL: COMBINATION SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD Removal

3. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal

4. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD Removal

5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH Removal

6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD UPPER NO. 3 PLATE Removal

7. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

8. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Removal

9. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH Removal

10. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH Removal

11. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 6 claws and 2 guides.





(b) Disengage the clamp.

(c) Disconnect each connector and remove the combination switch assembly.

(d) Remove the 2 screws and position indicator housing assembly from the combination switch assembly.





(e) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the transmission shift main switch.
