Disassembly

EXTERIOR: FRONT BUMPER: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

2. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

3. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

4. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper hole cover.





6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 screws and front bumper extension mounting bracket.





7. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

HINT
When removing the emblem, heat the radiator grille and emblem using a heat light.

Heating temperature:





NOTICE:
Do not heat the radiator grille and emblem excessively.

(a) Put protective tape around the radiator grille emblem.

(b) Remove the radiator grille emblem.





8. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

(a) Remove the 2 spring nuts.





(b) Disengage the claw and remove the radiator grille emblem.

9. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 4 clips.





(b) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and 4 screws.





(c) Disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides.





(d) Disengage the 9 claws and remove the radiator grille assembly.





10. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.





(b) Disengage the 4 claws.





(c) Disengage the 2 claws.





(d) Disengage 3 claws and guide, and remove the radiator grille.





11. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

(a) Disengage the 13 clips and remove the radiator grille seal.





12. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR GRILLE GARNISH

(a) Disengage the 6 claws and No. 2 radiator grille garnish.





13. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE GARNISH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the radiator grille garnish and No. 2 radiator grille garnish.

14. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Disengage the 14 claws and remove the lower radiator grille.





15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

(a) Remove the front bumper energy absorber from the front bumper reinforcement.





16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

(a) Disengage the 6 clamps.





(b) Remove the bolt and separate the cooler bracket.

(c) Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.





17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER STAY LH

(a) Remove the screw.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper stay LH.

18. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER STAY RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
