DESCRIPTION

With the engine switch off and the mirror retract switch of the integration control and panel assembly in AUTO mode, when the doors are locked through the entry or wireless function, the front multiplex network door ECU LH and RH retract the mirror, and when the doors are unlocked, the front multiplex network door ECU LH and RH return the mirror.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK INTEGRATION CONTROL & PANEL ASSEMBLY

(a) With the engine switch on (IG), press and hold the mirror retract switch for 1 second or more to change the mirror retract switch to AUTO mode.

(b) Check the Auto power mirror retract function operates normally.

HINT
If it is not sure whether the mirror retract switch is in AUTO mode or not, pressing the mirror retract switch shortly (approximately 1 second or less) to retract the mirror and then pressing and holding the switch (approximately 1 second or more) will change the mirror retract switch to AUTO mode.

2. CHECK OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR OPERATION

(a) Operate the mirror retract switch and check that the mirror retracts/returns normally.

3. CHECK DOOR LOCK OPERATION

(a) Check that the doors lock/unlock normally through the entry and wireless function.

4. REPLACE INTEGRATION CONTROL & PANEL ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace the integration control & panel assembly Removal.

5. CHECK OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR OPERATION

(a) With the engine switch on (IG), press and hold the mirror retract switch for 1 second or more to change the mirror retract switch to AUTO mode.

(b) Check the Auto power mirror retract function operates normally.
