Installation

2GR-FSE EMISSION CONTROL: HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2 4WD)

Using SST, install the sensor to the front exhaust pipe.

(a) Pass the sensor connector through the floor panel and install the grommet.

SST : 09224-00010

without SST - Torque : 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

with SST - Torque : 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

HINT
* Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.81 in.).
* Make sure SST and the wrench are connected in a straight line.

(b) Connect the sensor connector.

2. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER LH (for 4WD)

Install the cover with the 2 clips and 4 nuts.

3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for 4WD)

(a) Install the front seat LH Installation.

4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX (for 4WD) Installation

5. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY (for 4WD) Installation

6. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2 2WD)

(a) Using SST, install the sensor to the front exhaust pipe.

without SST - Torque : 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

with SST - Torque : 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

(b) Pass the sensor connector through the floor panel and install the grommet.

(c) Connect the sensor connector.

7. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2)

(a) Using SST, install the sensor to the front exhaust pipe.

8. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Installation

9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Installation

10. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX PLATE Installation

11. INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER PANEL ASSEMBLY Installation

12. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE UPPER GARNISH Installation

13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

14. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
