Theft Deterrent System





THEFT DETERRENT: THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH)





(a) Disconnect the DD, DK, DM and DN ECU connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the DD, DK, DM and DN ECU connectors.

(d) Measure the voltage of the connectors.





If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

2. CHECK ENGINE ROOM NO. 1 RELAY BLOCK, JUNCTION BLOCK (FRONT LIGHT ECU)





(a) Disconnect the 1Y, 1X and 1Z junction block connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the 1Y, 1X and 1Z junction block connectors.

(d) Measure the voltage of the connectors.





If the result is not as specified, the junction block may have a malfunction.

3. CHECK POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU





(a) Disconnect the K73 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
