AUDIO / VISUAL: RADIO RECEIVER: REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)
Navigation System (for HDD)
NOTICE:
* After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
* A hard disk drive (HDD) is built into the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) to store map data etc. which will be used for the navigation system. Therefore, make sure to read all of the precautions thoroughly before handling the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system).
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Navigation System for HDD)
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
3. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH Removal
4. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal
5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Removal
6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal
7. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
(a) Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts.
(c) Pull the display and navigation module display with radio receiver assembly toward the rear of the vehicle to disengage the 2 clips.
(d) Disconnect each connector and remove the display and navigation module display with radio receiver assembly.
8. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET
(a) Remove the 5 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.
9. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET
(a) Remove the 5 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.
10. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the display and navigation module display assembly as shown in the illustration.
11. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
