AIR CONDITIONING: SMOG VENTILATION SENSOR: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT SMOG VENTILATION SENSOR

(a) Measure the resistance of the connector (CO, HC).

(1) Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6. Measure the resistance.





Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.

(b) Measure the resistance of the connector (NOx).

(1) Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6. Measure the resistance.

If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.
