Theft Deterrent System
THEFT DETERRENT: THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU
1. CHECK COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
(a) Disconnect the DD, DK, DN and DM junction block connectors.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the DD, DK, DN and DM junction block connectors.
(d) Measure the voltage of the connectors.
HINT
*: w/ Intrusion Sensor
If the result is not as specified, the junction block may have a malfunction.
2. CHECK ENGINE ROOM NO. 2 RELAY BLOCK, JUNCTION BLOCK (FRONT CONTROLLER)
(a) Disconnect the 2E, 2F and 2G front controller connectors.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the 2E, 2F and 2G front controller connectors.
(d) Measure the voltage of the connectors.
If the result is not as specified, the junction block may have a malfunction.
3. CHECK POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the K73 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
