Component Tests and General Diagnostics
LIGHTING: REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. CHECK REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the X1 and X3 connectors.
(b) Connect the voltmeter's positive (+) lead to terminal X1-7 and the negative (-) lead to terminal X1-6.
(c) Connect the voltmeter's positive (+) lead to terminal X3-2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal X3-6.
(d) Measure the voltage of the connector.
Standard voltage:
(e) Connect the voltmeter's positive (+) lead to terminal X1-5 and the negative (-) lead to terminal X1-6.
(f) Connect the voltmeter's positive (+) lead to terminal X3-5 and the negative (-) lead to terminal X3-6.
(g) Measure the voltage of the connector.
Standard voltage:
2. CHECK REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the Y2 and Y9 connectors.
(b) Connect the voltmeter's positive (+) lead to terminal Y2-2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal Y2-4.
(c) Connect the voltmeter's positive (+) lead to terminal Y9-2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal Y9-4.
(d) Measure the voltage of the connector.
Standard voltage:
If the result is not as specified, replace the light assembly.
