Removal

THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the front bumper assembly Removal.

2. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Removal

3. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect each connector.

(b) Disengage the 2 clamps and wire harness.





(c) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, remove the hood lock bolt cap as shown in the illustration.

(d) Remove the 2 bolts and hood lock bolt.





(e) Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly and remove the hood lock assembly.





4. REMOVE SECURITY COURTESY SWITCH

(a) Remove the spring.





(b) Remove the spring.





(c) Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the 2 screws and security courtesy switch.
