Disassembly

DOOR / HATCH: LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH Removal

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER Removal

4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.





(b) Disconnect the connector.





(c) Disengage the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

(d) Remove the 2 bolts and luggage compartment door lock assembly.





5. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK PROTECTOR

(a) Remove the clip.





(b) Disengage the claw.

(c) Disengage the guide and remove the luggage door lock protector as shown in the illustration.

6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP

(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Remove the 2 screws and luggage compartment door assist grip.





7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Disengage the 3 clamps.

(c) Remove the 2 nuts and luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly.

(d) Disengage the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.





8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER LH

(a) Remove the 3 clips and luggage compartment door hinge cover LH.





9. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER RH

(a) Remove the 3 clips and luggage compartment door hinge cover RH.





10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION

(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 4 luggage compartment door cushions.





11. REMOVE LUGGAGE KEY ELECTRICAL SWITCH Removal

12. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

13. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

14. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

15. REMOVE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Parking Assist Monitor System) Removal

17. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH
