Reassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE

(a) Engage the 3 clamps and 2 claws.

(b) Connect the 3 connectors.

(c) Engage the 3 clamps.

(d) Connect the connector and install the front seat wire to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

2. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Heater)

(a) Engage the 2 clamps to install the seat heater control sub-assembly.

(b) Connect the 2 connectors.

3. INSTALL SEAT POSITION SENSOR Installation

4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Engage the hook as shown in the illustration.

(c) Install the front seat lower cushion shield LH with the screw.

5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

(a) Engage the guide.

(c) Install the front seat lower cushion shield RH with the screw.

6. INSTALL UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the upper reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the 2 screws.

(c) Engage the guide and install the side airbag wire harness clamp.

7. INSTALL LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the lower reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.

8. INSTALL UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Engage the clamp and guide.

(b) Install the upper reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the 2 screws.

9. INSTALL LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the lower reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the screw.

10. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Install the 3 bushes to the front seat cushion bracket.

(b) While holding each nut using a wrench as shown in the illustration, tighten the 3 screws to install the front seat cushion bracket.

(c) As shown in the illustration, slide the seat cushion climate control blower with bracket from the back of the seat and attach it to the front seat cushion spring with the 3 hooks.

(d) Install the front part of the front seat cushion bracket with the screw.

Torque : 2.6 Nm (27 kgf-cm, 23 in-lbf)

(e) Connect the connector.

11. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL DUCT (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Engage the 2 claws to temporarily install the seat cushion climate control duct as shown in the illustration.

(b) Engage the 2 claws.

(c) Engage the 2 claws to connect the seat cushion climate control duct to the seat cushion climate control blower with bracket as shown in the illustration.

12. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT

(a) Install the active headrest lower unit with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

13. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT

(a) Install the active headrest upper unit with the 4 nuts [B] as shown in the illustration.

Torque : 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the cable to the active headrest upper unit with the nut [A].

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

14. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the bush.

(b) Engage the guide.

(c) Install the lumbar support adjuster assembly with the 2 screws.

(d) Connect the connector.

(e) Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

(f) Engage the 4 clamps and install the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

15. INSTALL SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Using a T30 ''TORX'' socket, install the seatback climate control blower and the seatback climate control cover to the seat frame with the 6 ''TORX'' bolts.

Torque : 2.6 Nm (27 kgf-cm, 23 in-lbf)

(b) Engage the 4 clamps and install the wire harness.

17. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Clean the front seat frame assembly.

(b) Apply double-sided tape to the positions shown in the illustration.

(c) Apply double-sided tape to the positions shown in the illustration and install a new front seatback cover to the front seat frame.

18. INSTALL SEATBACK FELT (for Driver Side)

(a) Align the 2 seatback felts with the lines on the separate type front seatback pad shown in the illustration and attach them.

HINT
After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

19. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with 14 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

20. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Temporarily install the front seatback cover with pad to the seatback frame.

(b) Install the front seatback cover bracket with the nut.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
* For vehicles with side airbags, the seatback cover must be securely installed. Otherwise, the side airbags may not deploy properly.
* Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
* Install the bracket securely.

(c) Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(d) Using hog ring pliers, install 4 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(e) Engage the 5 hooks as shown in the illustration.

(f) Engage the 2 hooks and install the front seatback cover with pad.

21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the front seat headrest support LH.

22. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT RH

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the front seat headrest support RH.

23. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the front seatback board sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

24. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 14 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

25. INSTALL OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) Installation

26. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Engage each hook as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the 2 clips.

(c) Engage the 4 hooks.

(d) w/o Climate Control Seat System:

(1) Engage the 6 clamps.

(e) w/ Climate Control Seat System:

(1) Connect the 2 connectors.

(2) Engage the 6 clamps.

(3) Connect the connector.

(f) Engage the 3 fasteners and install the front seat cushion cover with pad.

27. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD

(a) Engage the guide and temporarily install the front seat cushion inner shield as shown in the illustration.

(b) Engage the claw.

(c) Install the front seat cushion inner shield with the screw.

28. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Installation

29. INSTALL POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/o Memory)

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) Engage the guide.

(c) Install the power seat switch with the 3 screws.

30. INSTALL POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/ Memory)

(a) Connect the 2 connectors.

(b) Engage the guide.

(c) Install the power seat switch with the 3 screws.

31. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT LUMBAR SWITCH (for Driver Side)

(a) Install the front power seat lumbar switch to the front seat cushion shield with the 2 screws.

32. INSTALL FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Engage the 3 claws and guide as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the front inner No. 1 front seat cushion shield to the front seat cushion shield with the screw.

33. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

(a) for Driver Side:

(1) Connect the connector to the front power seat lumbar switch.

(b) w/o Memory:

(1) Engage the guide and claw, and install the front seat cushion shield assembly with the 5 screws.

(d) Engage the 2 hooks and install the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board to the front seat frame.

34. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

35. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the reclining power seat switch knob.

36. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the front seat headrest assembly as shown in the illustration.
