DESCRIPTION

The main power source is supplied to the air conditioning amplifier assembly when the power switch is turned on (IG).

The power source is used for operating the air conditioning amplifier assembly and servo motor, etc.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

HINT
Turn the power switch on (IG) before inspection. Check the IG1 NO. 1 relay or auxiliary battery if the power source does not change to on (IG).

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the air conditioning amplifier assembly with the connectors still connected.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)

(a) Disconnect the air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal
