Installation

WIPER / WASHER: WIPER SWITCH: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the claw and install the windshield wiper switch assembly as shown in the illustration.





(b) Connect each connector.

2. INSTALL UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column)

(a) Engage the 2 claws and 2 pins to install the upper steering column cover.

(b) Engage the 4 clips and 2 guides to install the instrument panel cluster finish panel to the upper steering column cover.

3. INSTALL UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column)

(a) Engage the 2 claws and 2 pins to install the upper steering column cover.

(b) Engage the 4 clips and 2 guides to install the instrument panel cluster finish panel to the upper steering column cover.

(c) w/ Driver Monitor Camera:

(1) Connect the driver monitor camera connector.

4. INSTALL LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column)

NOTICE:
If the lower steering column cover is installed in the incorrect order, it will not be possible to assemble the lower steering column cover.

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the lower steering column cover.





(b) Engage the 4 claws.

(c) Engage the 2 claws.





HINT
Press the area around the claws to engage them.

5. INSTALL LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column)

NOTICE:
If the lower steering column cover is installed in the incorrect order, it will not be possible to assemble the lower steering column cover.

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the lower steering column cover.





(b) Engage the 4 claws.

(c) Engage the 2 claws.





HINT
Press the area around the claws to engage them.

6. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column)

(a) Engage the 4 claws to install the lower No. 2 steering column cover to the lower steering column cover.





7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column) Installation

8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column)

(a) Close the front luggage compartment trim cover and connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

NOTICE:
* Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal with the front wheels facing straight ahead.
* Reset the auto away/return function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter Programming and Relearning.
