EXTERIOR: REAR BUMPER: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

Removal

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

2. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

Removal

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

3. REMOVE NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

for Corner Sensor: Removal

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

for Back Sensor: Removal

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

4. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE LH

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper piece LH.





6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

7. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the screw.





(b) Disengage the claw and remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

8. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

9. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 rear bumper side retainer LH.





10. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH

(a) Remove the rear bumper pad LH.





12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR LH

(a) Remove the rear bumper protector LH.

14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

15. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws, clip and No. 1 rear bumper side support LH.





16. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

17. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 rear bumper side support LH.





18. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

19. REMOVE UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws and upper rear bumper retainer LH.





20. REMOVE UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

21. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

(a) Remove the rear bumper energy absorber with the rear bumper bar.





22. REMOVE REAR SIDE BUMPER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and rear side bumper sub-assembly LH.





23. REMOVE REAR SIDE BUMPER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

24. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT LH

(a) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper arm reinforcement LH.





25. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

26. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 8 bolts.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

(c) Remove the grommet.
