Disassembly





DOOR / HATCH: LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER

(a) Remove the 19 clips and luggage compartment door cover.





2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP

(a) Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 3 claws.

(b) Remove the 2 screws and luggage compartment door assist grip.





3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER COVER

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the luggage compartment door striker cover.





HINT
This cover needs to be replaced with a new one because the claws will break when removing the luggage compartment door striker cover.

4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts, luggage compartment door striker assembly and luggage door shim.





5. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR WEIGHT

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and luggage door weight.





6. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER LH

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and back door lower stopper LH.





7. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

8. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR UPPER OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and luggage door upper outside garnish sub-assembly LH.





9. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR UPPER OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP

(a) Remove the double-sided tape and luggage compartment door weatherstrip.





11. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE LUGGAGE ELECTRICAL KEY SWITCH Removal

13. REMOVE REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear View Monitor System) Removal

14. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

15. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

16. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT OUTSIDE DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

17. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

18. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

19. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION

(a) Disengage the 8 claws and remove the 4 luggage compartment door cushions.





HINT
These cushions need to be replaced with new ones because the claws will break when removing the luggage compartment door cushion.
