APPLICABILITY:
INTRODUCTION:
Some 2006 - 2011 model year IS250 and 2010 - 2011 model year IS250C vehicles equipped with manual transmission may exhibit a squeak or grinding noise from the transmission when releasing the clutch in gear. Follow the procedures in this bulletin to address this condition.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Test drive the vehicle and confirm there is a squeak or grinding noise from the transmission assembly when releasing the clutch in gear.

Transmission Squeak or Grinding Noise
If a squeak or grinding noise is present, replace the clutch disc and transmission.
NOTE
To correct this condition the transmission and clutch disc must be replaced together.

2. Confirm the repair.Test drive the vehicle to confirm the condition is present.
