Reassembly

LIGHTING: HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CORD (for HID Headlight)

(a) Engage the grommet.

(b) Connect the 2 connectors.

(c) Connect the connector.

(d) Connect the cover to install the headlight cord as shown in the illustration.

2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT GASKET (for HID Headlight)

(a) Install a new headlight gasket.

3. INSTALL LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY (for HID Headlight)

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) Install the light control ECU sub-assembly with the 4 screws.

(d) Install the bracket with the 2 screws.

(e) Engage the 2 claws and 2 clamps to connect the headlight cord.

4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING (for HID Headlight)

(a) Install a new headlight leveling motor base packing.

5. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR (for HID Headlight)

(a) Engage the tip of the headlight leveling motor with the reflector.

(b) Turn the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install it.

HINT
For the headlight leveling motor RH, rotate it opposite to the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.

(c) Connect the connector.

6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT

(a) Install the front bumper side support with the 3 screws.

7. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)

(a) Install the 2 front turn signal light bulbs to the headlight cord.

(b) Turn the 2 front turn signal light bulbs and headlight cord in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and install them as a unit.

8. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB (for HID Headlight)

(a) Install the front turn signal light bulb to the headlight cord.

(b) Turn the front turn signal light bulb and headlight cord in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and install them as a unit.

9. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT SOCKET (for Halogen Headlight)

(a) Connect the connector to install the clearance light socket.

10. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)

(a) Install the clearance light bulb to the clearance light socket.

(b) Turn the clearance light bulb and clearance light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and install them as a unit.

11. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)

(a) Install the No. 1 headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the bulb glass.

(b) Connect the connector.

12. INSTALL DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB (for HID Headlight)

(a) Lock the set spring in the order shown in the illustration to install the discharge headlight bulb.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the bulb glass.

(b) Turn the light control ECU socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to connect it.

13. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT COVER GASKET

(a) Install a new No. 1 headlight cover gasket.

14. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BACK COVER

(a) Engage the 2 guides.

(b) Lock the set spring as shown in the illustration to install the No. 1 headlight back cover.

15. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB

(a) Install the No. 2 headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the bulb glass.

(b) Connect the connector.

16. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT COVER GASKET

(a) Install a new No. 2 headlight cover gasket.

17. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BACK COVER (for Halogen Headlight)

(a) Engage the 2 guides.

(b) Lock the set spring to install the No. 2 headlight back cover as shown in the illustration.

18. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LOCKING CAP (for HID Headlight)

(a) Install the headlight locking cap as shown in the illustration.
