Disassembly

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: REAR BUMPER: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the screw.





(b) Disengage the claw and remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

2. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

Removal

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

4. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

Removal

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

5. REMOVE NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

Removal

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

6. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(a) Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the No. 3 luggage room wire.





7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE LH

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper piece LH.





8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR LH

(a) Remove the rear bumper protector LH.

10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR RH

(a) Remove the rear bumper protector RH.

11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH

(a) Remove the rear bumper pad LH.





12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

(a) Remove the rear bumper energy absorber.





14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT LH

(a) Disengage the 4 claws and 3 guides, and remove the rear bumper arm reinforcement LH.





15. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 8 bolts.





(b) Disengage the claw and remove the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.





17. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws, clip and No. 1 rear bumper side support LH.





18. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

19. REMOVE REAR BUMPER LOWER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Remove the screw.





(b) Disengage the claw and remove the rear bumper lower side retainer LH.

20. REMOVE REAR BUMPER LOWER SIDE RETAINER RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

21. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 rear bumper side support LH.

22. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

23. REMOVE REAR UPPER BUMPER RETAINER LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.





(b) Disengage the claw and remove the rear upper bumper retainer LH.

24. REMOVE REAR UPPER BUMPER RETAINER RH
