Reassembly

DOOR / HATCH: LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION

(a) Engage the 8 claws to install 4 new luggage compartment door cushions.





2. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Installation

3. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT OUTSIDE DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Installation

6. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

7. INSTALL REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear View Monitor System) Installation

8. INSTALL LUGGAGE ELECTRICAL KEY SWITCH Installation

9. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP

(a) Clean the vehicle body surface.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

(2) Remove any double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(b) Apply instant adhesive (cyanoacrylate) to the luggage compartment door as shown in the illustration.

(c) Apply double-sided tape to the luggage compartment door as shown in the illustration and install the luggage compartment door weatherstrip.

11. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR UPPER OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the luggage door upper outside garnish sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

12. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR UPPER OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

13. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER LH

(a) Install the back door lower stopper LH with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

14. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

15. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR WEIGHT

(a) Install the luggage door weight with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

HINT
The identification mark must face down.

16. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the luggage compartment door striker assembly and luggage door shim with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

17. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install a new luggage compartment door striker cover.





18. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP

(a) Install the luggage compartment door assist grip with the 2 screws.





(b) Engage the 3 claws.





19. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER

(a) Install the luggage compartment door cover with the 19 clips.
