PART 2

59. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)

(a) Remove the spare wheel cover tray assembly.

60. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH

(a) Disengage the clip.

(b) Disconnect the connector and remove the deck side trim box LH.

61. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH

(a) Disengage the clip.

(b) Disconnect the connector and remove the deck side trim box RH.

62. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK PROTECTOR

(a) Disengage the left and right claws to remove the luggage door lock protector.

63. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side)

(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 rope hook assemblies.

64. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

(a) Using a clip remover, disengage the 5 clips

(b) Disengage the 4 clips and remove the rear luggage compartment trim cover by pulling it upward.

65. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and tonneau cover assembly.

66. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER HOOK HOLDER

(a) Turn each tonneau cover hook holder 45 degrees clockwise to remove the 2 tonneau cover hook holders.

67. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF GUIDE RAIL STOPPER

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the snap rings.

(b) Pull the 2 sliding roof guide rail stoppers forward to remove them.

68. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

(a) Using a clip remover, disengage the 4 clips and remove the front luggage compartment trim cover.

69. REMOVE LOWER INNER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

(a) Using a clip remover, disengage the 3 clips and remove the lower inner luggage compartment trim cover.

70. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION (for LH Side)

(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the snap ring and No. 2 luggage compartment door cushion.

71. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the tonneau cover stopper sub-assembly LH.

72. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM SIDE COVER LH

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and screw.

(b) Disconnect the connector and remove the package tray trim side cover LH.

73. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR SIDE CUSHION RH (for LH Side)

(a) Using a clip remover, disengage the clip and remove the luggage compartment door side cushion RH.

74. REMOVE ROPE HOOK (for LH Side)

(a) Push in the left and right claws to remove the rope hook.

75. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY (for Front LH)

(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws.

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and screw.

80. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION (for RH Side)

81. REMOVE ROPE HOOK (for RH Side)

(a) Push in the left and right claws to remove the rope hook.

82. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY (for Front RH)

(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws.

(b) Disengage the 2 clips and 2 claws and remove the luggage compartment trim cover RH.

84. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH SIDE PLATE LH

(a) Disengage the 3 claws, detach the drain hose and remove the rear floor finish side plate LH.

85. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH

(a) Disengage the 2 clips and remove the luggage compartment trim cover LH.

86. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH SIDE PLATE RH

(a) Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the bolt and sliding roof panel stopper.

If the No. 2 roof panel strength sub-assembly is being replaced with a new one, make sure to keep the sliding roof panel stopper for reuse.

89. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF PANEL STOPPER (for RH Side)

90. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH COVER LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Disengage the claw and guide remove the roof side inner garnish cover LH.

91. REMOVE REAR ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH LH

(a) Remove the 4 screws and rear roof side rail garnish LH.

92. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH COVER RH

103. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH Removal

104. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH Removal

105. REMOVE ROOM PARTITION TRIM (for LH Side)

(a) Using a clip remover, disengage the 2 clips.

(b) Disengage the 2 clips remove the room partition trim.

106. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF PANEL STRENGTH SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) Using a clip remover, disengage the clamp.

(c) Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts.

(d) Disconnect the connector.

(e) Using a clip remover, disengage the clamp.

(f) Remove the earth bolt.

(g) When the No. 2 roof panel strength sub-assembly is being replaced with a new one, if shims (shown in the illustration) were fitted to the old No. 2 roof panel strength sub-assembly, remove them and keep them for reuse.

(h) Remove the 4 bolts and No. 2 roof panel strength sub-assembly.

HINT
Keep the shims for the No. 2 roof panel strength sub-assembly.

107. REMOVE ROOM PARTITION TRIM (for RH Side)

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

108. REMOVE ROOF PANEL STRENGTH SUB-ASSEMBLY

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

109. REMOVE SLIDE ROOF MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and slide roof motor assembly.

HINT
Keep the shims for the slide roof motor assembly.

110. REMOVE SLIDE ROOF MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

111. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM BRACKET

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Using a clip remover, disengage the clamp.

(c) Remove the 4 nuts and package tray trim bracket.

HINT
Keep the shims for the package tray trim bracket.

112. DISCONNECT NO. 1 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts.

(c) Using a clip remover, disengage the 3 claws and 4 clamps and separate the No. 1 luggage room wire.

113. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 bolts and luggage compartment door panel sub-assembly.

114. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BRACKET (for LH Side)

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and deck side trim bracket.

115. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE ASSEMBLY LH

NOTICE:
The luggage compartment door hinge assembly LH is used as a measurement reference point for reassembly. Do not remove any nuts or bolts other than those specified.

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) Remove the earth bolt (C).

(c) Remove the 2 bolts (B), 4 nuts (A) and luggage compartment door hinge assembly LH.

HINT
Keep the shims for the luggage compartment door hinge assembly LH.

116. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BRACKET (for RH Side)

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

117. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE ASSEMBLY RH

NOTICE:
The luggage compartment door hinge assembly RH is used as a measurement reference point for reassembly. Do not remove any nuts or bolts other than those specified.

(a) Remove the pin.

(b) Separate the push pull cable from the luggage compartment door lock assembly.

(d) Using a wrench, loosen the nut (A).

(e) Remove the earth bolt (B).

(f) Using a wrench, loosen the nut (C) and separate the push pull cable from the body.

(g) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(h) Remove the 2 bolts (B), 4 nuts (A) and luggage compartment door hinge assembly RH.
