Removal

WIPER / WASHER: FRONT WIPER MOTOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH

(a) Remove the 4 clips, grommet and engine room side cover LH.

3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH

(a) Remove the clips, grommet and engine room side cover RH.

4. REMOVE FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR LH

(a) Using a clip remover, separate the clip on the rubber portion of the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly from the front upper fender protector LH.





(b) Disengage the 3 clips and the claw to remove the front upper fender protector LH.

5. REMOVE FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

6. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the roof headlining assembly Removal.

7. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR UPPER COVER ASSEMBLY LH Removal

8. REMOVE ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING LH Removal

9. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR UPPER COVER ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

10. REMOVE ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

11. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM HEAD CAP

(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the front wiper arm head cap.

* Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

12. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the nut and the front wiper arm and blade assembly LH.





13. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the nut and the front wiper arm and blade assembly RH.





14. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 clips.





(b) Disengage the 3 claws and front side guide.





(c) Disengage the rear side 7 guides, and pull out the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

15. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts.

(c) Disengage the rubber pin and remove the windshield wiper motor and link assembly as shown in the illustration.





16. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a screwdriver, separate the No. 2 windshield wiper link rod from the crank arm pivot of the front wiper motor assembly as shown in the illustration.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Using a screwdriver, separate the No. 1 windshield wiper link rod from the pivot of the front wiper link assembly as shown in the illustration.

(c) Position the No. 1 windshield wiper link rod as shown in the illustration. Using a screwdriver, remove the No. 1 windshield wiper link rod.

(d) Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts and the windshield wiper motor assembly from the wind shield wiper link assembly.
