Disassembly

INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT CONSOLE BOX: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the console box cup holder sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.





NOTICE:
When removing the console box cup holder sub-assembly, do not hold the center part of the cup holder in order to prevent the cup holder from breaking.

2. REMOVE FRONT UPPER CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH

(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws.





(b) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front upper console panel garnish.

3. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 screws.





(b) Open the console compartment door lock sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove it.





4. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) While pushing down on the lock using a screwdriver with its tip taped, slide the console door in the direction shown by the arrow in the illustration to remove it.





5. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION

(a) Remove the 2 console compartment door cushions from the console box.

6. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE POWER POINT SOCKET COVER Removal

9. REMOVE STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE RADIO WIRE

(a) Remove the adhesive tape.





(b) Disengage the clamp to remove the radio wire.
