Disassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

3. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 4 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board from the front seat frame.

(b) Remove the 6 screws.

(c) Disengage the claw and remove the front seat cushion shield assembly.

(d) Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.

5. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Disengage the claw and remove the No. 1 front seat cushion inner shield from the front seat cushion shield.

6. REMOVE LUMBAR SWITCH

(a) Remove the 2 screws and the lumbar switch.

7. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT TRACK LOWER SPACER

(a) Remove the 2 screws and the No. 1 seat track lower spacer.

8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the claw.

(c) Separate the guide and remove the front seat cushion inner shield as shown in the illustration.

9. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT TRACK LOWER SPACER

(a) Remove the 2 screws and the No. 2 seat track lower spacer.

10. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH

(a) Remove the 3 screws.

(b) Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the power seat switch.

11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Driver Side)

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) Disengage the 3 clamps.

(c) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

(d) Disengage the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.

12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Disengage the 2 clamps and separate the occupant detection sensor connector.

(b) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(e) Disengage the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.

13. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) Removal

14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Remove the 16 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

15. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Open the lower part of the seatback board. Then remove the 2 screws.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws.

(c) Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the front seatback board sub-assembly.

16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.

17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the hog ring.

(b) Disengage the hooks and remove the front seatback board cover sub-assembly.

18. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Remove the 10 hog rings.

(b) Disengage the 2 hooks.

(e) Remove the front seatback cover with pad from the seatback frame.

19. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Remove the 16 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

20. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY

(a) Cut off the 8 tack pins that fasten the seatback heater, and then remove the front seatback heater assembly from the separate type front seat cushion cover.

21. REMOVE LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the side airbag wire harness.

(b) Remove the 2 screws and disengage the guide to remove the lower reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

22. REMOVE LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the side airbag wire harness.

(b) Remove the 2 screws and disengage the guide to remove the lower reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

23. REMOVE UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the guide and remove the upper reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

24. REMOVE UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the guide and remove the upper reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the guide and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the guide and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

27. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the 2 screws and the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

28. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR Removal

29. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.

30. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE

(a) Disconnect the 3 connectors.

(b) Disengage the 7 clamps and remove the front seat wire from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.
