Dome Lamp: Testing and Inspection

LIGHTING (INT): ROOM LIGHT: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY (REAR PERSONAL LIGHT)

(a) Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 (RMAP) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 3 (RGND).





(b) Check that the rear personal light comes on as shown in the table below.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.

2. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY (REAR SEAT LIGHT)

(a) Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 (ILLB) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 5 (LILL).





(b) Check that the rear seat light comes on.

OK:

Comes on

If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.

3. REMOVE SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY (REAR INTERIOR LIGHT)

(a) Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 (ILLB) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 4 (RILL).





(b) Check that the rear interior light comes on.

OK:

Comes on

If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.
