Reassembly

2UR-GSE FUEL: FUEL PUMP: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring and fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump assembly.





(b) Engage the 5 claws on the fuel filter and install the fuel pump assembly to the pump filter.





NOTICE:
* Make sure that the O-ring is not cut or pinched during the installation.
* Attach the claws securely.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT

(a) Install the No. 1 fuel suction support to the fuel filter.





3. INSTALL FUEL PUMP HARNESS

(a) Connect the fuel pump connector to the fuel pump assembly.





4. TEMPORARILY INSTALL JET PUMP

(a) Apply gasoline to a new O-ring and install it to the jet pump.





(b) Temporarily install the jet pump to the No.1 fuel sub-tank.

5. INSTALL FUEL FILTER

(a) Temporarily install fuel filter.





NOTICE:
When temporarily installing the fuel filter, pass the tube under the protrusion at the top of the fuel filter as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the fuel filter to the No.1 fuel sub-tank and attach the 2 claws.





(c) Install the jet pump to the No.1 fuel sub-tank as shown in the illustration.

6. INSTALL FUEL SUCTION PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the spring to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly shaft.

(b) Install the fuel suction plate sub-assembly to the No.1 fuel sub-tank.

(c) Install a new E-ring.





(d) Connect the fuel pump connector to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.





7. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

(a) Set the fuel sender gauge assembly to the No.1 fuel sub-tank. Then slide the sender gauge assembly downward to install it.





(b) Connect the fuel sender gauge assembly connector to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the sender resistance plate or contact area.
