AUDIO / VISUAL: AMPLIFIER ANTENNA: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

(a) for Power Seat:

Remove the rear seat assembly Removal.

(b) for 4-Passenger with Ottoman:

Remove the rear seat assembly Removal.

(c) for 5-Passenger with Ottoman:

Remove the rear seat assembly Removal.

(d) for Fixed seat:

Remove the rear seat assembly Removal.

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

(a) for Standard Body:

(1) Remove the rear door scuff plate LH Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

(1) Remove the rear door scuff plate LH Removal.

5. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

(a) for Standard Body:

(1) Remove the rear door scuff plate RH Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

(1) Remove the rear door scuff plate RH Removal.

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH Removal

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH Removal

8. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH Removal

9. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH Removal

10. REMOVE SPOT LIGHT LENS (for Long Body) Removal

11. REMOVE ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for Long Body) Removal

12. REMOVE SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE REAR VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

14. REMOVE COAT HOOK Removal

15. REMOVE ROOF SIDE REGISTER BEZEL LH (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

16. REMOVE ROOF SIDE REGISTER BEZEL RH (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

17. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

18. REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

(a) Partially remove the roof headlining.

HINT
It is not necessary to completely remove the roof headlining. Slightly lower the rear section of the roof headlining so that the amplifier antenna can be removed.

(b) Disconnect the antenna connectors.

(c) Detach the 4 clips labeled A and remove the 2 nuts labeled B.

(d) Detach the clip labeled C and remove the amplifier antenna.

NOTICE:
Do not reuse the removed clip.
