Reassembly

EXTERIOR: REAR BUMPER: REASSEMBLY

HINT
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PIECE LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the rear bumper piece.

2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PIECE RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER LOWER COVER

(a) Attach the 5 claws to install the rear bumper lower cover.

(b) Install the 8 screws.

4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER EXTENSION LH

(a) Install the rear bumper extension with the 3 bolts.

5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER EXTENSION RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Install the rear bumper side retainer with the 2 screws.

7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

8. INSTALL REAR SPOILER (for Sport Package)

(a) Install the rear spoiler with the 9 retainers.

9. INSTALL REAR SIDE SPOILER LH (for Sport Package)

(a) Install the rear side spoiler with the 8 retainer and 3 clips.

10. INSTALL REAR SIDE SPOILER RH (for Sport Package)

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

11. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(a) Install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer Installation.

12. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(a) Install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor Installation.

13. INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the ultrasonic sensor clip.

HINT
Use the same procedure to install the ultrasonic sensor clip on the other side.

(b) Clean the rear bumper surface.

(1) Remove the double-sided tape from the rear bumper surface.

(2) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(c) Attach the 4 clamps to install the No. 3 luggage room wire and install 3 new pieces of tape as shown in the illustration.

(d) Connect the 4 connectors.
