By operating the rear power seat reset switch, the position of the rear seat that has been adjusted can be returned to the factory setting.
To improve the ease of entry/exit into the vehicle, the door open linked return operation is available. For this operation, when a rear door is opened, the rear seat adjacent to the opened door is moved to the rearmost position.
At this time, the position control ECU checks the shift lever position, brake operation, engine switch position and vehicle speed. It then makes a judgment of the vehicle's status before activating motors to move the rear seat to rearmost position.
The door open linked return operation can be enabled or disabled by operating the C switch in the rear seat memory switch.
The right and left position control ECUs memorize seat positions for their own respective rear seat sides.
