Removal





POWER DISTRIBUTION: POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

CAUTION:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing Service Precautions.

NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD Removal

3. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal

4. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD Removal

5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH Removal

6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD UPPER NO. 3 PLATE Removal

7. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side Removal.

9. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side Removal.

10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Removal

11. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Removal

14. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH

(a) Disconnect each connector.





(b) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the wire harness.

(c) Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and ECU integration box RH.

15. REMOVE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the power management control ECU as shown in the illustration.
