DESCRIPTION

The vehicle proximity notification system may not function when there is a problem with the power supply of the vehicle approaching speaker controller.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuse for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (VEHICLE APPROACHING SPEAKER CONTROLLER - IG1 NO. 1 RELAY)

(a) Disconnect the H138 vehicle approaching speaker controller connector.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
