Removal





POWER OUTLETS (INT): POWER OUTLET SOCKET: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY (for Front Side) Removal

2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Side) Removal

3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX ASSEMBLY (for Front Side)

(a) Open the instrument panel door.

(b) Disengage the 3 claws and 4 guides, and remove the instrument panel finish panel end.





(c) Remove the 2 screws.





(d) Disengage the 2 clips as shown in the illustration.





(e) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 clamps.





(f) Disconnect the connector and remove the instrument panel box assembly.

4. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY (for Front Side)

(a) Turn the power outlet socket assembly in the direction shown in the illustration to disengage the claw.





(b) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw, and then push in the power outlet socket assembly until the protrusion of the power outlet socket assembly comes into contact with the power outlet socket cover.





(c) As shown in the illustration, align the protrusion of the power outlet socket assembly and the notch of the power outlet socket cover.





(d) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the power outlet socket assembly from the power outlet socket cover.





5. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER (for Front Side)

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the power outlet socket cover.





6. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for Rear Side) Removal

7. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Rear Side) Removal

8. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Rear Side) Removal

9. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side) Removal

10. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side)

(a) Turn the power outlet socket assembly in the direction shown in the illustration to disengage the claw.





(b) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw, and then push in the power outlet socket assembly until the protrusion of the power outlet socket assembly comes into contact with the power outlet socket cover.





(c) As shown in the illustration, align the protrusion of the power outlet socket assembly and the notch of the power outlet socket cover.





(d) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the power outlet socket assembly from the power outlet socket cover.





11. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER (for Rear Side)

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the power outlet socket cover.
