STEERING COLUMN: HEATED STEERING WHEEL CONTROLLER: INSTALLATION

NOTICE:
* Do not replace the spiral cable with the battery connected and the power switch on (IG).
* Do not rotate the spiral cable without the steering wheel with the battery connected and the power switch on (IG).
* Ensure that the steering wheel is installed and aligned straight when inspecting the steering sensor.
* Do not remove the steering sensor from the spiral cable.

1. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL HEATER CONTROL ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the steering wheel heater control assembly to the lower steering wheel boss cover with the 2 screws.

Torque : 0.8 Nm (9 kgf-cm, 7 in-lbf)

(b) Engage the clamp.

3. INSTALL STEERING SHAKE DAMPER Installation

4. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH WIRE Installation

5. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH Installation

6. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY Installation

7. ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD

8. ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

9. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY Installation

10. CHECK STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT

11. INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
