Applicability

Introduction

Some 2011-2012 CT 200h vehicles may exhibit a MIL "ON" condition with Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P2111 (Throttle Actuator Control System) and P0A0F (Engine Failed to Start) present when ambient temperatures are below 23°F/-5°C. A new intake manifold assembly is now available to improve this condition.

Repair Procedure

1. Use Techstream to check for DTCs and confirm the condition per the introduction.

2. Remove and replace the intake manifold with the updated part. Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), applicable model year CT 200h Repair Manual:

^ 2011 CT 200h:
Engine/Hybrid System - Intake/Exhaust - "2ZR-FXE Intake/Exhaust: Intake Manifold: Removal / Installation"

^ 2012 CT 200h:
Engine/Hybrid System - Intake/Exhaust - "2ZR-FXE Intake/Exhaust: Intake Manifold: Removal / Installation"

3. Clear the DTCs and verify normal vehicle operation.
