WINDOW / GLASS: WINDSHIELD DEICER SYSTEM: OPERATION CHECK

1. CHECK WINDSHIELD DEICER SYSTEM

(a) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(b) Check that the windshield deicer wire (windshield glass) becomes warm by operating the front wiper deicer switch (outer mirror heater switch assembly)*1 or windshield deicer switch*2 of the multi-display.

* *1: w/o Navigation System

* *2: w/ Navigation System

(c) Confirm that the windshield deicer stops after approximately 15 minutes.

HINT
If voltage of the auxiliary battery drops a certain amount, the windshield deicer function may be forcibly stopped Freeze Frame Data.
