DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.

HINT

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the items for the following systems that are customizable via the multi-display screen:

* Power door lock control system
* Wireless door lock control system
* Lighting system





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally How to Proceed With Troubleshooting.

OK:

CAN communication DTC is not output.

NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM How to Proceed With Troubleshooting
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

(a) Check if the power door lock control system is malfunctioning How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.

HINT
Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the power door lock control system.

OK:

No malfunctions are present in the power door lock control system.

NG -- GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

(a) Check if the wireless door lock control system is malfunctioning How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.

HINT
Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the wireless door lock control system.

OK:

No malfunctions are present in the wireless door lock control system.

4. CHECK LIGHTING SYSTEM

(a) Check if the lighting system is malfunctioning How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.

No malfunctions are present in the lighting system.

5. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS

(a) Display the "Vehicle Customization" screen.





(b) Make a note of the customizable items for each main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) related system.

HINT
These items shown as customizable via the navigation system vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the Techstream. In a following step, the Techstream will be used.

(1) To match-up the items in the multi-display with the items on the Techstream, check the customize parameters list for the power door lock control system related items that can be customized via the multi-display screen Programming and Relearning.

(2) To match-up the items in the multi-display with the items on the Techstream, check the customize parameters list for the wireless door lock control system related items that can be customized via the multi-display screen Wireless Door Lock Control System.

(3) To match-up the items in the multi-display with the items on the Techstream, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system related items that can be customized via the multi-display screen Customize Parameters.

(c) Using the Techstream, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the multi-display screen.

OK:

The items available for customization via the multi-display screen can be customized successfully using the Techstream.
