MIRROR: POWER MIRROR CONTROL SYSTEM: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. CHECK POWER MIRROR SWITCH OPERATION

(a) Remote control

The mirror adjust switch can control the adjustment axis of the mirror surface.

(b) Reverse-linked

This function tilts the mirror surface downward to improve the visibility when driving in reverse, provided that all the conditions given below have been met.

* Engine switch is on (IG).

* Shift lever is moved to "R".

2. CHECK MEMORY SWITCH OPERATION

(a) Memory

Memorizes the positions when all conditions below have been met and the 1or 2 button is pushed while the "SET" button is pushed.

* Engine switch is on (IG).

* Shift position is "P".

When the memory setting is completed, the buzzer will sound for 0.5 seconds.

(b) Recall

If the button 1 or 2 is pressed when all conditions below have been met, it recalls the positions.

* Engine switch is on (IG).

* Shift position is "P".

* Engine switch is on (IG).

* Driver door is opened.
