Door Courtesy Light

LIGHTING: DOOR COURTESY LIGHT: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Front Side)

(a) Disconnect the I1 or H1 front courtesy light assembly connector.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage:

LH Side
RH Side










If the result is not as specified, there is a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Apply battery voltage to the courtesy light assembly connector.





(d) Check that the courtesy light comes on.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or courtesy light assembly.

2. INSPECT COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side)

(a) Disconnect the K1 or J1 rear courtesy light assembly connector.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage:

LH Side
RH Side










If the result is not as specified, there is a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Apply battery voltage to the courtesy light assembly connector.





(d) Check that the courtesy light comes on.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or courtesy light assembly.
