THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SECURITY COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY)

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the hood lock assembly

(b) Connect the hood lock control cable assembly and connector.

(c) Install the hood lock assembly with the 2 bolts and hood lock bolt.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(d) Install a new hood lock bolt cap.

(e) Engage the 2 clamps and wire harness.

(f) Connect each connector.

4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the front bumper assembly Installation.

5. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
