Removal

LIGHTING (INT): PERSONAL LIGHT: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR STAY HOLDER COVER (w/o Automatic High Beam System) Removal

2. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR STAY HOLDER COVER (w/ Automatic High Beam System) Removal

3. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR COVER (w/ Rain Sensor) Removal

4. REMOVE FRONT ROOF TOP GARNISH (w/o Lane Keeping Assist System) Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT ROOF TOP GARNISH (w/ Lane Keeping Assist System) Removal

6. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) w/ Holder:

(1) Open the holder.

(2) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws.

(3) Rotate the 2 caps as shown in the illustration until the screws are visible.





(b) w/o Holder:

(1) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 4 claws and disconnect the cover.

(c) Remove the 2 screws.





(d) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and 2 clips.





(e) Disconnect the connector and remove the map light assembly.

7. REMOVE MAP LIGHT BULB

(a) Turn the 2 map light bulbs and 2 map light sockets in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration and remove them as a unit.





(b) Remove the 2 map light bulbs from the 2 map light sockets.
